Why was something wrong with AED?

Something went wrong with AED in the summer of 2009, when an employee reported irregularities in an AED project in Pakistan. After Pakistan was hit by a massive earthquake in October 2008, AED had scrambled to provide emergency relief and apparently overpaid for emergency supply kits.

Where can you find AED?

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can be found in many public locations such as casinos, airplanes, airports, shopping centers, government offices, theme parks, health clubs, fitness centers, community centers, and workplaces.

What is the survival rate if an AED is not available?

When sudden cardiac arrest strikes, an automated external defibrillator - or AED - makes all the difference between life and death. If an AED is not readily available during an incident of SCA, the survival rate is less than 5%. However, if an AED is on hand, the survival rate jumps to a staggering 95%. And that's where we come in.
